    LinkStructure Property Type

    1. Why does the below link structure not generate multi-family listings in Las Vegas?
    2. What parameters would I need to add to show multi-family in a specific zip code in Las Vegas?
    3. I assume I can do all this with dsIDXpress, or do I need SearchAgent

    /idx/city/las-vegas/?idx-q-PropertyTypes-multifamily

Any help would be gratefully received.

I reviewed http://helpdesk.diversesolutions.com...g-mls-content/ but did not understand the section on Property Types.

    The correct parameter would be
    HTML Code:
    ?idx-q-Property-Types=
and multi-family should be a number. For my local area multi-family equals "229". So my link structure would look like this
    HTML Code:
    http://www.mysite.com/idx/city/acworth/?idx-q-PropertyTypes=229

kfawcett has it right, you'll need to use an equal sign "=" between the field label (PropertyTypes) and the field value (multifamily) PLUS we store each property type as a number, so you'll need to switch PropertyTypes=multifamily to PropertyTypes=125 (125 is the code we use for multifamily in GLVAR MLS).

Just switch the = sign and use 125 and you should be good to go:
    HTML Code:
    /idx/city/las-vegas/?idx-q-PropertyTypes-multifamily
    becomes:
    HTML Code:
    /idx/city/las-vegas/?idx-q-PropertyTypes=125
Thanks for helping out here, kfawcett!
