    Critique and Wordpress Header Question

    Hi all,
    I've recently redone www.NestingInNashville.com - and I'm seeing a nice uptick in registrations due to the quick search on the home page.
    I'd love some additional feedback if you have any.

    My real question though has to do with my dropdown menu. One of them (Suburban Neighborhoods) is WAY too long; it drops off the page and I don't quite know how to fix it. I've tried using the UberMenu plugin, but there is a coding conflict and it ends up sitting invisibly behind my body. I can't seem to fix that either.

    Any other ideas for getting a handle on the menu length?

    Steph, why not go to odesk and hire someone to figure out the uber menu conflict and resolve it?

    Or just hire @Sarasota Bill from here on the DS forum. I think he has the uber menu on his site. Honestly, I think it's OK the way it is, but the uber menu is uber cool.

    The problem with the uber menu sounds like a CSS conflict. If you can find the layer that the uber menu is named and find the css setting for it, make the z-index value something huge like 9999999999 (or is it -9999999999 ???? one of the two). Thank should put it on top.

    Stephanie, I use agentpress and uber menu. The menu is hidden because of "overflow: hidden;" in the #nav. You can remove it but I kinda remember there being more little things that needed to be fixed.

    I think I got this info from the support site or something. I just pulled it from my notes.

    /* ubermenu Child Theme's functions.php */
    add_filter( 'genesis_do_nav', 'genesis_child_nav', 10, 3 );
    function genesis_child_nav($nav_output, $nav, $args){
    return $nav;
    }

    and then added this to CSS

    /* Ubermenu Megamenu CSS
    ------------------------------------------------------------ */

    #megaMenu{
    width:960px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    }

    Hope that Helps
